Boukensha Guild ga Juunisai kara Shika Hairenakatta no de, Saba Yomimashita. (Since the Adventurer Guild Only Lets You In From Age Twelve, I Lied About My Age) is a light novel series written by Kakeru Takamine and illustrated by Tsukasa Kirino. The series emerged from the popular Japanese web novel platform Shousetsuka ni Narou, where it gained a following before being acquired for physical publication by Kadokawa’s Sneaker Bunko imprint. The narrative follows a young protagonist who uses creative deception to join an adventurer's guild prematurely, fitting into the lighthearted fantasy subgenre that often explores themes of precocious talent and social navigation.

The design of the second volume continues the aesthetic established in the debut, featuring character art by Tsukasa Kirino that emphasizes the vibrant, expressive style typical of modern fantasy light novels. The illustrations aim to visualize the protagonist’s double life and the whimsical world-building of the guild system. Upon release, the series was received as a lighthearted entry in the progression fantasy space, appreciated by readers for its comedic premise and the clear, distinct visual identity provided by Kirino’s character designs, which helped bridge the transition from web-based serialized fiction to a tangible print product.
