Case Closed #97

Case Closed, known in Japan as Detective Conan, is a long-running detective manga series written and illustrated by Gosho Aoyama. First serialized in 1994, the story follows high school detective Shinichi Kudo, who is transformed into a child after being poisoned by members of a mysterious syndicate. Issue 97 represents a late-stage installment in this expansive narrative, maintaining Aoyama’s signature balance of intricate mystery plotting and lighthearted character dynamics that have made the series a cultural phenomenon.

The design of the manga adheres to the classic shonen aesthetic, characterized by Aoyama's clean line work and expressive character designs. As part of a series that has spanned decades, volume 97 continues to refine the visual language established in the early nineties while adapting to modern publishing standards. The work has been consistently praised for its clever puzzles and the enduring appeal of its central cast, solidifying its place as a cornerstone of modern Japanese mystery manga.
