Chaos Effect: Epilogue #1

Chaos Effect: Epilogue #1 was published in 1998 by Kenner as part of a promotional tie-in for their short-lived Chaos Effect toy line. This line envisioned a world where genetically engineered hybrid dinosaurs escaped from a facility, serving as a darker, more experimental extension of the Jurassic Park franchise that existed primarily in the toy aisle rather than on the big screen.

The comic was designed to provide narrative context for the toys, featuring artwork that leaned into the late-nineties aesthetic of aggressive, high-energy character design. While the toy line was eventually canceled due to poor retail performance and lackluster brand reception, this issue remains a niche curiosity for collectors of Jurassic Park memorabilia who value its role in documenting a bizarre and largely forgotten chapter of the franchise's licensing history.
