Comic Yuri Hime #159

Comic Yuri Hime, published by Ichijinsha, emerged in 2005 as a pioneering magazine dedicated exclusively to yuri, a genre focused on romantic relationships between women. Over nearly two decades, the publication became the definitive venue for the genre, shifting from a quarterly release to a monthly schedule before transitioning to a digital-first format. The magazine has served as a launchpad for some of the most influential works in modern yuri, including series that have defined the aesthetic and narrative standards for the category.

Issue 159 continues the magazine's long-standing tradition of featuring high-quality cover art by prominent manga artists and illustrators associated with the genre. The design language of the issue adheres to the established visual identity of the publication, which emphasizes soft, expressive character designs and vibrant color palettes intended to resonate with its specific readership. As with its predecessors, this issue reflects the magazine's role as both a curated gallery for professional illustration and a platform for serialized storytelling.
