Cool na Futari wa Mikake ni Yoranai #6

Cool na Futari wa Mikake ni Yoranai, authored by the artist Tatsuya Egawa, emerged during the late 1980s as a distinctive example of seinen manga. Published serialized in Business Jump, the series explores themes of social dynamics and identity, reflecting the nuanced, often satirical approach to modern Japanese life characteristic of Egawa’s work during this period of his career.

The sixth volume continues the series' established aesthetic, featuring Egawa’s signature detailed character linework and sharp, observational storytelling. Like much of the collection, the design and execution aimed to engage adult readers with complex narratives that balanced humor with cynical social commentary. Upon its release, the series was recognized for its stylistic confidence and became a staple of the seinen genre, maintaining a dedicated following among those appreciative of Egawa’s provocative creative voice.
