DC Finest: Supergirl: Die and Let Live #1

DC Finest: Supergirl: Die and Let Live, released in 2024, is part of DC Comics' modern archival initiative designed to present long-form, chronological collections of classic superhero runs in an accessible, trade paperback format. This volume specifically gathers foundational Supergirl stories that were originally serialized across various DC titles during the mid-1980s, a period defined by the dramatic shifts leading into and following the landmark Crisis on Infinite Earths event.

The editorial direction behind the DC Finest line focuses on high-value, comprehensive mapping of character histories, highlighting the work of iconic writers and artists from the bronze and copper ages. These collections are intended to serve as both historical documents for long-time readers and entry points for new fans, aiming to preserve the visual legacy of DC's roster while maintaining a consistent aesthetic across the entire publishing line.
