Dressing Biyō Gekai Morino Maria #1

Dressing Biyō Gekai Morino Maria was published in Japan during the late 1980s, a period defined by the rapid expansion of adult-oriented manga genres. As part of the era's fascination with specialized professional narratives, this series centers on the experiences of a plastic surgeon, blending clinical settings with the dramatic and sometimes sensationalized storytelling typical of seinen publications at the time. It serves as a historical example of how niche occupations were romanticized and repurposed for entertainment within the manga medium.

The character design and visual direction of the series reflect the aesthetic conventions of the late Showa and early Heisei eras, characterized by meticulous attention to character expressions and stylistic anatomical focus. While the identity of the specific primary illustrator is often categorized under collective studio efforts common to the genre during that period, the work is noted for its clean line work and the distinct, polished appearance of its protagonist, which was intended to contrast the intensity of the medical procedures depicted.
