Elden Ring - Geschichten aus dem fernen Zwischenland #1

Elden Ring: Geschichten aus dem fernen Zwischenland #1 is a German-language comic anthology based on the expansive open-world action role-playing game developed by FromSoftware. Published to capitalize on the immense critical and commercial success of the game following its 2022 release, the series serves as a companion piece intended to flesh out the lore and atmosphere of the Lands Between. It is published by Altraverse, a prominent German publisher known for its dedication to manga and high-quality localized gaming content.

The creative direction focuses on capturing the dark, enigmatic aesthetic of Hidetaka Miyazaki’s world through a comic format. The stories contained within are designed to offer peripheral narratives that do not necessarily alter the core gameplay timeline but instead provide deeper insights into the mysterious denizens encountered by the Tarnished. Upon its release, it was received primarily by the dedicated community of the game as a collectible bridge between the interactive experience and visual storytelling, appealing to those who appreciate the somber, intricate art style established by the game’s original design team.
