Endan Yobanashi #10

Endan Yobanashi is a serialized anthology of short stories and illustrated narratives that emerged from the independent Japanese publishing scene. Issue number 10 represents a specific installment in this ongoing creative project, which focuses on blending traditional storytelling motifs with contemporary illustration styles. The series was created to provide a dedicated space for artists and writers to explore darker, atmospheric themes that often skirt the edges of gothic fiction and folklore.

The design and visual direction of the series are characterized by a minimalist aesthetic that prioritizes high-contrast line work and intentional negative space. This visual identity was cultivated to ensure the artwork directly complements the emotional weight of the prose contained within each issue. Upon its release, the collection was recognized within niche literary circles for its commitment to maintaining a consistent, moody tone that distinguishes it from more mainstream commercial anthologies.
