Fire Force, known in Japan as Enen no Shouboutai, was created by the manga artist Atsushi Ohkubo and began serialization in Weekly Shonen Magazine in 2015. The series quickly gained attention for its high-octane action sequences and unique visual style, which refined the kinetic, stylized aesthetic Ohkubo established in his previous hit, Soul Eater. The omnibus editions were produced to collect these individual chapters into larger, library-style volumes, offering readers a comprehensive way to experience the narrative progression of the Special Fire Force Company 8.

This fifth omnibus volume continues the dark fantasy narrative centered on Shinra Kusakabe, a pyrokinetic teenager fighting to save humanity from spontaneous human combustion.
