Gachikoi Nenchakujū: Net Haishinsha no Kanojo ni Naritakute #5

Gachikoi Nenchakujū: Net Haishinsha no Kanojo ni Naritakute, translated as 'Gachikoi Sticky Beast: I Want to Be the Girlfriend of a Streamer,' is a psychological drama manga series written and illustrated by Namagori. Originally serialized in the digital magazine Manga Cross, the series explores the intense, often obsessive parasocial relationships between internet streamers and their dedicated fanbases. The fifth volume continues the narrative arc, focusing on the dark realities of the digital entertainment industry and the emotional volatility of its participants.

The character designs and visual storytelling by Namagori were crafted to emphasize the contrast between the polished, curated personas of the streamers and the unraveling mental states of the characters around them. The series has gained critical attention for its grounded portrayal of modern internet subcultures and the anxieties inherent in virtual intimacy. Since its debut, the series has been well-received by readers for its unflinching look at the 'gachikoi' phenomenon—a term describing fans who develop genuine, heavy romantic feelings for the idols or streamers they support.
