GAEA-TIMA the Gigantis #3

GAEA-TIMA the Gigantis #3 belongs to a mid-1990s independent comic series that sought to blend traditional superhero tropes with environmental themes and mythological motifs. Emerging during a period when small-press publishers were actively challenging the dominance of larger houses, the title aimed to explore the intersection of ecological preservation and epic fantasy narrative. The project was conceived as a multi-issue limited series intended to build a world where nature itself took physical form to defend against industrial encroachment.

The visual identity of the series was defined by a distinct, gritty art style characteristic of the era's creator-owned movement, prioritizing dark, detailed linework over the glossy aesthetics typical of the major publishers. The third issue served as a critical turning point in the serialized arc, intensifying the conflict between the protagonist and its antagonists. While the series gained a modest cult following among aficionados of underground comics, its design and storytelling choices reflected the ambitious but often experimental nature of the independent market at the time.
