Gangan Joker #202

Gangan Joker is a monthly shonen manga magazine published by Square Enix, which emerged from the 2009 rebranding and merger of the older Gangan Powered and Monthly Gangan Wing magazines. Issue #202 serves as a continuation of the publication's long-standing editorial mission to foster a mix of dark fantasy, supernatural thrillers, and character-driven comedy series that appeal to a demographic of young adult male readers.

The design and visual identity of the magazine are managed by the Square Enix editorial team, who emphasize high-impact cover art featuring key characters from current serialized hits. The magazine is historically noted for being the original home of notable titles such as Akame ga Kill! and various spin-offs, maintaining a reputation for bold aesthetic choices and a distinctively gritty tone that differentiates it from more mainstream shonen competitors.
