Gunota ga Mahō Sekai ni Tensei Shitara, Gendai Heiki de Guntai Harem wo Tsukucchaimashita!? #5

Gunota ga Mahō Sekai ni Tensei Shitara, Gendai Heiki de Guntai Harem wo Tsukucchaimashita!? is a light novel series written by Kennoji and illustrated by Murasaki Hisame. The series emerged during the mid-2010s amidst the height of the isekai boom in Japanese light novel publishing, centering on a protagonist who leverages modern military technology within a fantasy setting to build a private army. This fifth volume continues the narrative progression established by the series' premise, which explores the thematic intersection of military tactical fiction and the harem subgenre.

The character designs and cover illustrations were provided by Murasaki Hisame, whose work aims to emphasize the high-fantasy aesthetic while incorporating the military hardware that defines the series' central gimmick. Like many titles in the light novel market at the time, the series was published under the GC Novels imprint. It was received as a niche entry in the competitive isekai market, appealing specifically to readers interested in the juxtaposition of modern combat mechanics and classical magic-based world-building.
