Guy Gardner #10

Guy Gardner number 10 was published in 1993 as part of the DC Comics ongoing series focused on the notoriously abrasive Green Lantern. The title emerged during a period of significant upheaval for the character, who had recently lost his power ring and was attempting to navigate the DC Universe using an alien artifact known as Sinestro's yellow power ring, which profoundly influenced his unpredictable temperament.

The issue was produced during the era of gritty, extreme storytelling that defined 1990s comic book aesthetics. Like much of the series, the art and narrative lean into Gardner's role as an anti-hero who constantly clashes with established Justice League members, reflecting the editorial desire at the time to explore morally ambiguous characters who operated outside the traditional constraints of superhero altruism.
