Hundred Note: Hawk Eyes #2

Hundred Note is a multimedia project launched by Kodansha that utilizes a unique 'webtoon-style' narrative format to blend traditional mystery storytelling with digital-first engagement. The Hawk Eyes series serves as one of the core investigative branches within this universe, focusing on a group of detectives tasked with solving complex cases. This second issue builds upon the serialized framework established in the series premiere, emphasizing the project's signature approach of combining manga-influenced character designs with accessible, bite-sized episodic pacing.

The character design and visual direction for the Hawk Eyes series were developed to align with contemporary digital reading trends, prioritizing clarity and dramatic tension suited for mobile devices. As part of the broader Hundred Note initiative, the series was designed to foster a direct connection between the creator's vision and an active online fanbase, encouraging reader interaction through its periodic release schedule. It has been received as a notable experiment in transmedia storytelling, sitting at the intersection of conventional manga production and modern serialized web content.
