Inchiki Seijo to Iwareta Node, Kuni wo Dete Nonbiri Kurasō to Omoimasu #1

Inchiki Seijo to Iwareta Node, Kuni wo Dete Nonbiri Kurasō to Omoimasu, or 'I Was Called a Fraudulent Saint, So I’ll Leave the Kingdom and Live Life at My Own Pace,' first debuted as a light novel series written by the author Washu before being adapted into manga form. The first volume of the manga adaptation, illustrated by the artist 4-Haru, was released to expand the reach of this popular 'slow life' fantasy subgenre. It follows the protagonist, Fia, who chooses to depart from her kingdom after being wrongly accused, seeking a quiet existence that resonates with readers who enjoy stories centered on personal autonomy and low-stakes adventure.

The character design and visual tone established in this first volume reflect the common aesthetic of modern Japanese fantasy manga, emphasizing expressive character work and a cozy, inviting atmosphere. By focusing on the protagonist's transition from a high-pressure royal environment to a more modest setting, the creative team sought to deliver a sense of escapism. The work has been received as a staple of the 'rejection' trope within the genre, praised by fans for its focus on the heroine's emotional well-being and her desire to avoid the complications of political intrigue.
