Isekai de Mofumofu Nadenade Suru Tame ni Ganbattemasu. #16

Isekai de Mofumofu Nadenade Suru Tame ni Ganbattemasu, often known by its English title 'I'm Doing My Best to Pet Magical Creatures in Another World,' began as a light novel series authored by Himawari. The narrative follows Midori Akitsu, who is reincarnated into a new world with the unique ability to be loved by non-human creatures. This specific volume, number 16, serves as a continuation of the ongoing adaptation serialized in manga format, which is illustrated by Yuriko Takagami.

The series emerged from the popular isekai genre, distinguishing itself through a focus on creature comfort and whimsical fantasy rather than intense combat. Yuriko Takagami’s character and creature designs were intended to emphasize the warmth and charm of the series' central premise, aiming for a soft, approachable aesthetic that mirrors the lighthearted nature of the source material. It has been well-received by readers who appreciate the 'iyashikei' or healing sub-genre of manga.
