Isekai de Zenra Yūsha to Yobanaide #1

Isekai de Zenra Yūsha to Yobanaide, or Don't Call Me the Naked Hero in Another World, debuted as a light novel series before being adapted into manga format. This first volume serves as the introduction to a subversion of the typical isekai fantasy trope, focusing on the comedic and social consequences of a protagonist who finds himself transported to a fantasy realm while entirely devoid of clothing. The narrative balances traditional adventure elements with slapstick humor, drawing on the popularity of the 'transported to another world' genre that dominated Japanese light novel publishing throughout the 2010s.

The series was brought to life through the work of writer 40-hara and illustrator Kureta. The character designs and cover art were specifically crafted to lean into the lighthearted, comedic tone of the story, using vibrant, approachable aesthetics to contrast with the absurd premise. Upon release, the series found a niche audience among fans of gag-focused fantasy, with the physical volume noted for its distinct cover art that sets expectations for the humorous journey within.
