Justice League America #90

Justice League America #90, published in 1994, emerged during a transitional period for DC Comics' flagship team title. Following the conclusion of the long-running Justice League International era, the book leaned into a grittier, 1990s-style aesthetic under the editorial direction of Kevin Dooley. The creative team at this time included writer Dan Vado and artist Marc Campos, who sought to manage a rotating roster of heroes during a time of significant upheaval within the DC Universe, particularly following the events of the Zero Hour crossover.

The cover art and interior narrative reflect the era's focus on high-stakes drama and team volatility. Like many issues in the mid-90s, the title struggled to maintain the acclaim of its predecessors, often caught between legacy storylines and the push for modernized character portrayals. Despite being a relatively modest chapter in the series' decades-long history, the issue remains a recognizable piece for collectors interested in the post-Crisis, pre-Grant Morrison revitalization of the Justice League franchise.
