Justice League America Annual #6

Published in 1992, Justice League America Annual #6 was part of the DC Comics event known as Eclipso: The Darkness Within. This crossover event spanned across various DC annuals of the era, focusing on the corruption of established heroes by the ancient entity Eclipso. The issue served to integrate the Justice League into the broader narrative conflict, reflecting the 1990s trend of interconnected company-wide storylines that defined the period's editorial strategy.

The issue was written by Dan Vado with artwork by pencilers including Mike Collins and others associated with the series at the time. The creative team aimed to balance the specific tone of the Justice League America lineup with the darker, supernatural requirements of the Eclipso event. Reception at the time was consistent with the general polarized response to the event itself, with readers divided between those who enjoyed the expanded scope of the crossover and those who preferred the self-contained character-driven stories of the primary series.
