Jùxíng Guàishòu: Ziga #2

Jùxíng Guàishòu: Ziga is a Japanese-inspired tokusatsu-style comic series that emerged during the late 20th century as part of a growing wave of independent media exploring kaiju themes. This second issue continued the narrative established in the debut, focusing on the titular creature's interactions with human civilization and the technological organizations designed to monitor or contain it.

The art style of the series leans into the visual language of Showa-era monster cinema, prioritizing exaggerated creature anatomy and large-scale urban destruction. While the creative team drew heavily from established genre tropes of the era, the series is remembered primarily as a niche passion project that reflected the cultural obsession with oversized monsters, serving as a stylistic bridge between traditional manga aesthetics and the broader global fascination with giant monster spectacles.
