K-9: Keishichō Kōanbu Kōan Daikyūka Inō Taisaku-Gakari #4

K-9: Keishichō Kōanbu Kōan Daikyūka Inō Taisaku-Gakari is a Japanese manga series written by Teruaki Mizuno and illustrated by Kōji Murata. Published in the early 2000s, the series operates within the police procedural and supernatural genres, following a specialized department within the Tokyo Metropolitan Police tasked with investigating paranormal incidents. The fourth issue continues the established narrative thread of the series, focusing on the team's integration of supernatural threats into their investigative mandate.

The series design is characteristic of seinen manga from that period, prioritizing detailed character work and an atmosphere grounded in a gritty urban landscape. While the series did not reach the heights of long-running mainstream hits, it is noted by collectors for its niche exploration of occult law enforcement tropes. The creative team aimed to blend traditional police procedural tropes with speculative fiction, resulting in a distinct visual style that differentiates it from more high-fantasy supernatural manga.
