Kabe-Cir Dōjin Sakka no Nekoyashiki-kun wa Shōnin Yokkyū wo Kojiraseteiru #7

Kabe-Cir Dōjin Sakka no Nekoyashiki-kun wa Shōnin Yokkyū wo Kojiraseteiru, written and illustrated by Mimiko, debuted as a serialized web manga before being collected into physical volumes. The series focuses on the internal and social struggles of an aspiring dōjinshi artist, offering a comedic yet poignant look at the obsessive nature of self-promotion and the desire for external validation within niche artistic communities.

The seventh volume continues the series' exploration of the protagonist's anxieties and his interactions with his creative peers. Mimiko's design choices emphasize the character's erratic emotional state, blending sharp comedic timing with observational humor about the specific culture of Japan's amateur publishing scenes. It has been well-regarded by readers for its relatable depiction of creative burnout and the social nuances of online identity.
