Kei × Yaku - Gefährliche Partner #9

Kei × Yaku: Dangerous Partners is a manga series written and illustrated by Kaori Yuuki, originating from the Japanese shōjo and josei tradition. The narrative centers on an unlikely alliance between a stoic detective and a yakuza member, blending elements of suspense, thriller, and character-driven drama. This specific volume serves as part of the ongoing serialization that explores the deepening trust and complex moral landscape between the two protagonists.

The series gained significant traction for its sharp character designs and atmospheric pacing, typical of Yuuki's detailed artistic style. Upon its international licensing, the German edition published by Tokyopop introduced the work to a broader Western audience. Like its predecessors, volume nine maintains the series' commitment to intricate plotting and the tension inherent in the forbidden cooperation between law enforcement and the criminal underworld.
