Ken wo Motanai Kensei, Kizoku ni Shihai Sareta Kishi Gakuen de Musō Suru #2

Ken wo Motanai Kensei, Kizoku ni Shihai Sareta Kishi Gakuen de Musō Suru, translated as The Swordless Sword Saint, is a light novel series that emerged from the popular Japanese web novel ecosystem, specifically the Shōsetsuka ni Narō platform. Following its digital serialization, the work was published in physical format by SB Creative under their GA Bunko label, with the second volume arriving as part of the series' transition into the traditional publishing market to capitalize on the growth of the fantasy school battle genre.

The second volume continues the narrative established by author Yomu Mishima, featuring illustrations by Miko. The aesthetic direction aligns with contemporary light novel standards, utilizing character designs that emphasize the contrast between the protagonist’s non-traditional status and the rigid, aristocratic hierarchy of the academy setting. As with much of the series' output, the reception was driven by audiences seeking classic power-fantasy tropes framed within a high-stakes competitive environment.
