Kid Eternity #12

Kid Eternity #12 was published in 1948 by Quality Comics during the Golden Age of comic books. The series followed the supernatural adventures of a boy killed in a maritime disaster who, along with his spirit guide Mr. Keeper, returns to Earth to assist those in need of divine intervention. This specific issue reflects the era's transition toward varied, sometimes darker or more whimsical storytelling as publishers looked for ways to differentiate their heroes from the standard caped archetypes of the time.

The character was created by writer Bill Woolfolk and artist Sheldon Moldoff, the latter of whom was already well-regarded for his work on Batman. Moldoff's design for Kid Eternity emphasized a youthful, ethereal aesthetic that distinguished the character from his contemporaries. While the series did not reach the heights of industry titans like Superman, it remains a noted example of the experimental spirit prevalent in the post-war independent publishing scene.
