Kijitora Neko no Koume-san #28

Kijitora Neko no Koume-san, a long-running manga series by artist Hotohara, centers on the everyday life and antics of a tabby cat named Koume. The series emerged from the slice-of-life genre, gaining popularity for its observational humor and the authentic depiction of feline behavior. The design aesthetic is characterized by soft, approachable linework that emphasizes the character's expressive nature, aiming to resonate with pet owners and those seeking lighthearted, relatable storytelling.

Issue #28 serves as part of the broader compilation of these vignettes, which were initially serialized before being collected into volumes. By the time this issue was released, the series had established a dedicated following in Japan. It was well-received for its consistency in tone and its ability to capture the nuance of human-pet relationships without relying on exaggerated tropes, solidifying its place as a staple within the subgenre of manga focused on domestic animal companionship.
