King-sama no Ichiban-Boshi #2

King-sama no Ichiban-Boshi is a shōjo manga series originally serialized in the Japanese manga magazine Ribon during the early 1990s. The series, written and illustrated by mangaka Asami Hagiwara, fits into the era's tradition of lighthearted, character-driven storytelling aimed at young female readers, focusing on themes of youth, school life, and burgeoning romance.

As a secondary volume in the series, the second issue compiles several chapters that further develop the protagonist's journey and interpersonal dynamics. Hagiwara’s illustrative style, characteristic of the Ribon aesthetic of the time, emphasizes delicate linework and expressive character designs that helped define the visual language of 1990s shōjo manga. While not as widely cited in retrospective canon as other major titles from the magazine, it remains a nostalgic artifact of a prolific period in Japanese monthly manga publishing.
