Koko wa Watashi no Teidesu. Sorosoro Dete Itte Kuremasu? #1

Koko wa Watashi no Teidesu. Sorosoro Dete Itte Kuremasu?, or This Is My Territory. Could You Please Leave?, was created as a light novel series written by Minato Omiya and illustrated by Yuko Yamato. It belongs to the popular subgenre of Japanese web novels adapted into light novels, specifically focusing on the fantasy 'villainess' or aristocratic conflict tropes that have dominated the market since the mid-2010s. The first volume serves as an introduction to a protagonist attempting to navigate and reclaim her social standing within a restrictive nobility setting.

The character designs by Yuko Yamato are intended to evoke the classic shojo aesthetic, balancing ornate period-inspired costuming with the expressive, high-detail character work expected in contemporary Japanese light novel publishing. The series was picked up by major light novel publishers following its success on amateur serialization platforms, reflecting a broader trend where publishers rely on existing digital popularity to gauge the viability of physical print releases in the competitive Japanese book market.
