Konse wa Goen ga Arimasu Yōni! #3

Konse wa Goen ga Arimasu Yōni!, a shōjo manga series created by manga artist Ayumi Kawahara, entered serialization in the early 1990s as part of the broader wave of romantic comedy storytelling popular in Japanese manga magazines at the time. The third volume continues the central narrative arc of the series, which typically explores themes of fated romantic encounters and the complexities of high school relationships, rendered in the delicate, expressive line work characteristic of Kawahara's aesthetic from this period.

The series was published under the Hakusensha imprint, a house well-regarded for its influence on the shōjo genre. Kawahara’s approach to character design focused on capturing emotional nuance and stylized elegance, which resonated with readers who favored character-driven developments. While the series maintains a niche status today, it is recognized by collectors as a representative example of the visual and narrative trends prevalent in 1990s shōjo publications.
