Kuchi ni Kansuru Enquête #1

Kuchi ni Kansuru Enquête is a notable experimental manga project created by the artist Moyoco Anno. Released in the early 2000s, this collection represents Anno's shift toward intimate, observational storytelling that blends personal commentary with stylized illustration. The series was designed to explore the nuances of communication and perception, often utilizing minimalist paneling to highlight the internal monologue of the characters.

The reception of the work has been largely centered on its aesthetic impact within the josei manga genre. Critics have frequently noted Anno's ability to capture the anxieties of modern life through a distinctively sharp and fluid visual style. While not as widely distributed as her mainstream series, it remains a highly regarded example of her commitment to artistic evolution and her willingness to challenge the conventional pacing of short-form comics.
