Kyūketsuki-san wa Chitoraretai #1

Kyūketsuki-san wa Chitoraretai, written and illustrated by mangaka Kyōma Kyū, was first serialized in the seinen manga magazine Manga Time Kirara Forward. The series centers on the supernatural comedic interactions between a vampire and the humans she encounters, fitting into the lighthearted slice-of-life subgenre that defines much of the publication's output. The first volume was published to capitalize on the series' initial reception among readers who enjoy character-driven humor involving folklore tropes.

The character design and art style were crafted to emphasize a balance between gothic aesthetics and the cute, expressive visual cues typical of contemporary manga. The series has been recognized by its core audience for its gentle tone and consistent art style. As a volume-based release, the first issue serves as an introduction to the series' rhythmic gag-based storytelling and the distinct personalities of its supernatural cast.
