La Zorra y el Cuervo #41

La Zorra y el Cuervo was a prominent Cuban comic book series established in the mid-20th century, largely inspired by the aesthetic and narrative traditions of classic American animation and fables. Issue number 41 emerged during the peak of the publication's influence, serving as a primary source of entertainment for children across the island by adapting the classic Aesop fable of the fox and the crow into a recurring, serialised format.

The character designs and storytelling were heavily influenced by international animation styles, focusing on slapstick humor and moralistic tales. While the specific artists behind issue 41 worked within an anonymous studio model common for the era, their work is credited with shaping the visual literacy of generations of Cuban readers. The series remains a significant cultural artifact, reflecting both the cross-cultural reach of mid-century cartooning and the specific evolution of Cuban print media.
