Lass Meine Hand Nicht Los #1

Lass Meine Hand Nicht Los, known in English as Don't Let Go of My Hand, is a prominent title within the German-language boys' love (BL) manga market. Published in Germany by Altraverse, the series emerged as part of the growing trend of localized manga tailored to specific adult and young adult demographics. The first issue was created to establish the emotional core of the narrative, focusing on the complex interpersonal dynamics and delicate artistic style that characterizes contemporary shonen-ai storytelling.

The series is authored by the artist Rize Shinba, whose work is celebrated for a refined, emotive aesthetic that emphasizes character intimacy and atmospheric tension. The design of the first issue aims to draw readers into a grounded, character-driven drama, moving away from overly stylized tropes in favor of subtle facial expressions and pacing. Upon its release, it was well-received by the European manga community for its high production quality and its sensitive approach to character-driven storytelling within the BL genre.
