Les Noces des Lucioles #6

Les Noces des Lucioles is a niche French independent comic series that emerged during the late 20th-century flourishing of avant-garde graphic storytelling. Issue #6 arrived as part of a project that prioritized atmospheric, surrealist aesthetics over traditional narrative pacing, reflecting the era's interest in the intersection of poetry and sequential art.

The series is noted for its distinctive visual style, characterized by ethereal ink work and a muted, evocative color palette. While the identity of the specific illustrator remains closely tied to the underground small-press movement, the work was received by enthusiasts as an experimental exploration of light and shadow, intended to push the boundaries of how visual rhythm could represent emotion in a comic format.
