Les Quatre de Baker Street #11

Les Quatre de Baker Street is a celebrated Franco-Belgian comic series created by writers Jean-Blaise Djian and Olivier Legrand, with artistic contributions by David Etien. The series offers a reimagining of the Sherlock Holmes universe, shifting the focus from the detective himself to a group of resourceful street urchins who act as his eyes and ears in London. Developed to provide a youthful, gritty, and atmospheric perspective on Victorian-era mystery, the series is widely noted for its meticulous attention to period detail and Etien's expressive, semi-realistic character designs.

The ongoing success of the series, which debuted in 2009, relies on a balance between historical mystery and the personal struggles of its young protagonists. Issue number 11 represents the continued expansion of this narrative, maintaining the high production values and narrative consistency that have earned the series critical acclaim and a devoted following within the bandes dessinées community. It remains a staple for fans of historical fiction and graphic novels who appreciate its blend of classic literary canon and inventive storytelling.
