Lethal Ladies #1

Lethal Ladies #1 was published in 1993 by Personality Comics during a period when independent publishers were exploring the niche market of celebrity-focused and pin-up style illustrated media. The series was designed to showcase various archetypal female figures, often blending contemporary pop culture aesthetics with the tropes of mid-nineties comic art, which prioritized dynamic character silhouettes and high-contrast ink work.

The publication arrived during the peak of the independent comic boom, a time when small presses frequently released standalone issues or short series to capitalize on the success of trading cards and collectible art booklets. The artistic approach aimed to capture a stylized, dramatic intensity, though it generally remained a cult item within the broader comic collector community, recognized primarily by those interested in the specific editorial output of Personality Comics during the early nineties.
