Maid wa Koisuru Hachiya-kun #2

Maid wa Koisuru Hachiya-kun, or The Maid is in Love: Hachiya-kun, is a romantic comedy manga series created by the artist Mikanuji. The series originated within the landscape of Japanese seinen manga, exploring themes of gender expression and interpersonal relationships through the lens of a school-based setting. Serialized in specialized publications that often cater to niche demographics, the work reflects the author's recurring interest in intricate character dynamics and visual aesthetics that blend traditional tropes with modern sensibilities.

The second volume continues the narrative arc established in the series debut, focusing on the titular character's life and the comedic complications arising from his role. Mikanuji’s illustrative style is characterized by polished line work and expressive character designs that emphasize the lighthearted yet earnest nature of the story. Like much of Mikanuji’s bibliography, the volume was met with appreciation from readers who follow the artist’s specific approach to romantic tension and character-driven storytelling, cementing its place in contemporary manga collections.
