Makemasen Kara to Iiharu Kao no Ii Onnanoko wo, Zenryoku de Kuppuku Saseru Yuri no Ohanashi #1

Makemasen kara to Iiharu Kao no Ii Onnanoko wo, Zenryoku de Kuppuku Saseru Yuri no Ohanashi is a yuri-themed doujinshi series that originated in the independent Japanese publishing circuit. It was created by the artist known as Pochi Iida, who is well-regarded for her distinct illustrative style and focus on character-driven, emotionally charged narratives within the genre. The first volume serves as the introduction to the series' central dynamic, focusing on the playful, persistent, and somewhat competitive tension between the two primary female leads.

The series emerged from the vibrant culture of Comiket and other doujin gatherings where independent artists explore niche romantic tropes. The design and presentation reflect the author’s background in manga illustration, prioritizing expressive facial features and dynamic character interaction to emphasize the title's thematic focus. It was received as a notable entry in the sub-genre of comedic, assertive romance, appreciated by readers for its clean, high-quality artwork and the clear, consistent chemistry established between the characters from the opening pages.
