Maō Tōbatsu Shita Ato, Medachitakunai node Guild Master ni Natta #7

Maō Tōbatsu Shita Ato, Medachitakunai node Guild Master ni Natta, often referred to as Maōguma, began as a light novel series written by Gesu-no-Kiwamime, serialized on the user-generated publishing site Shōsetsuka ni Narō. The narrative follows a protagonist who, after defeating the Demon King, desires a quiet life and chooses to become a guild master to avoid the spotlight. This seventh volume continues the adaptation of the light novel series into a manga format, illustrated by the artist Ao Nekonote.

The series is part of a wave of 'slow life' fantasy manga that subverts traditional hero tropes by focusing on administrative work and internal guild politics rather than combat. Ao Nekonote’s character designs are noted for their clean, expressive aesthetic, which serves to balance the protagonist's desire for anonymity with the often chaotic developments occurring within the guild. The volume was published as part of the broader release cycle for the series under the Earth Star Comics label, reflecting the ongoing popularity of the light novel source material among readers of the fantasy-adventure genre.
