Maou ni Natta Node, Dungeon Tsukutte Jingai-Musume to Honobono Suru #9

Maou ni Natta Node, Dungeon Tsukutte Jingai-Musume to Honobono Suru, known in English as I Became a Demon Lord so I Created a Dungeon and Spend Heartwarming Time with Non-Human Girls, is a light novel series authored by Ryuuto and illustrated by Tea. The series originated as a web novel published on the Shosetsuka ni Naro platform before being picked up for print publication by Futabasha under their Monster Bunko imprint in 2016. Volume 9 serves as a continuation of the protagonists' efforts to manage their dungeon while navigating interpersonal relationships with the supernatural characters.

The character designs by Tea are central to the series' aesthetic, emphasizing a lighthearted, slice-of-life tone that balances fantasy world-building with domestic comedy. The series has found a dedicated readership within the genre of dungeon-building fantasy, praised for its focus on the collaborative efforts of the cast rather than strictly confrontational narratives. Volume 9 maintains this established visual and thematic consistency, serving as another installment in a series that highlights the cozy aspects of life in a fantastical setting.
