Meisterdetektiv Ron Kamonahashi #17

Meisterdetektiv Ron Kamonahashi, known in its original Japanese publication as Ron Kamonahashi: Deranged Detective, is a mystery manga series written and illustrated by Akira Amano. Serialized in Shonen Jump+ since 2020, the story follows the partnership between an eccentric, brilliant detective who has been banned from the profession and a clumsy but earnest police officer. Issue 17 represents a continuation of Amano's distinct visual style, which blends sharp character silhouettes with complex, suspenseful narratives that pay homage to classic detective fiction tropes.

The series is noted for its character designs and the chemistry between its two protagonists, which has garnered a significant following in Japan and internationally. Akira Amano, who previously gained fame for the long-running series Katekyō Hitman Reborn!, maintains a disciplined focus on atmospheric storytelling in this work. The seventeenth volume further develops the overarching mystery surrounding the BLUE Detective Training Academy, reinforcing the series' reputation for combining lighthearted character moments with intricate, high-stakes investigations.
