Murder Falcon #3

Murder Falcon #3 was published in 2018 as part of a limited comic book series created, written, and illustrated by Daniel Warren Johnson. The series emerged during a period of critical acclaim for Johnson, known for his kinetic, high-energy artistic style. The story follows a man named Jake who must save the world by summoning monsters through heavy metal music, blending themes of grief and resilience with the fantastical imagery of the kaiju genre.

The design of the issue, like the rest of the series, leans heavily into Johnson’s signature aggressive ink work and emotional storytelling. By the time the third issue hit shelves, the title had been widely praised by both critics and readers for its earnest heart and unique fusion of music-fueled action. The series was produced by Skybound Entertainment, solidifying Johnson's reputation as a visionary creator capable of balancing intense spectacle with deeply personal human stakes.
