Nakke Nakuttaja #195619

Nakke Nakuttaja, the Finnish translation of the iconic Woody Woodpecker, became a cultural staple in Finland through the local printing of Walter Lantz's animated shorts and comic books. The character first appeared on screen in 1940, and the Finnish comic series emerged as part of the broader international licensing of Lantz's characters to reach European audiences hungry for slapstick humor during the mid-20th century.

Issue number 195619 reflects the specific numbering conventions used in the Finnish market for this long-running series. These comics were generally produced by local publishers under license, featuring a mix of translated American content and occasionally unique regional editorial work. They were designed to mimic the zany, anarchic energy of the animated shorts, prioritizing visual gags and high-contrast illustrations that became synonymous with the character's legacy in Nordic print media.
