Ninja Ninbetsuchō #1

Ninja Ninbetsuchō, or The Ninja Account Book, emerged in the late 1950s as a significant contribution to the gekiga movement in Japanese manga. Created by the influential artist Sanpei Shirato, the series was designed to shift the genre away from simplistic children's adventure tropes toward a more visceral, politically charged exploration of historical class conflict and survival.
