No Hay Que Tomar a los Imbéciles por Gente #1

No Hay Que Tomar a los Imbéciles por Gente, translated roughly as One Should Not Take Fools for People, emerged from the vibrant and subversive independent Argentine comics scene of the 1990s. The series served as a satirical platform for creators to critique societal norms and political instability through biting humor and gritty, expressive illustration styles characteristic of the era's alternative press.

The publication was part of a broader movement of counter-cultural fanzines that prioritized raw creative freedom over commercial viability. The design and visual narrative, often credited to a rotating group of underground illustrators, utilized intentionally abrasive aesthetics to match the cynical, provocative tone of the writing. It remains a notable artifact for collectors interested in the evolution of South American independent publishing.
