Nth Man the Ultimate Ninja #15

Nth Man the Ultimate Ninja #15 was published by Marvel Comics in 1990 as part of a short-lived series that debuted the previous year. Created by writer Larry Hama and artist Ron Wagner, the title emerged during a period when Western comic books were increasingly experimenting with martial arts themes and Cold War espionage narratives. The series followed the protagonist John Doe, a man imbued with immense supernatural power, navigating a world of global conspiracies and international geopolitical tension.

The character design and visual direction were heavily influenced by the late 1980s aesthetic of dark, militaristic action figures and serialized adventure storytelling. While the series attempted to distinguish itself through its complex, somewhat cynical tone, it struggled to maintain a consistent readership against the backdrop of more established superhero titles of the era. The run ultimately concluded with issue #16, making the final few installments, including the fifteenth, markers of a narrative that sought to blend grounded combat with speculative science fiction.
