One Piece #112

One Piece chapter 112, titled 'Luffy vs. Zoro,' was originally serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump in 1999. It serves as a pivotal installment during the Whiskey Peak arc, capturing a moment of profound misunderstanding and comedic tension between the two central protagonists. As part of Eiichiro Oda's overarching narrative, the chapter highlights the distinct personalities and unwavering, if occasionally misguided, loyalty of the early Straw Hat crew.

Eiichiro Oda designed this chapter to emphasize the dynamic chemistry of his ensemble cast, utilizing his characteristic kinetic art style to choreograph the brief but intense scuffle between Luffy and Zoro. Upon its release, the chapter was well-received by readers for its ability to balance the series' signature humor with the high-stakes action that defines the Grand Line saga. It remains a notable example of the series' early ability to test its characters' bonds under pressure.
