Onepunch-man #36

One Punch-Man issue 36 is part of the ongoing serialized manga adaptation illustrated by Yusuke Murata, based on the original webcomic by the artist known as ONE. Published by Shueisha in Japan, the series began its digital serialization on the Tonari no Young Jump website in 2012. The series emerged during a period of high interest in deconstructive superhero narratives, subverting traditional shonen tropes by featuring a protagonist, Saitama, who is so powerful that he defeats every enemy with a single punch, shifting the narrative focus from the struggle for victory to the ennui of invincibility.

Yusuke Murata’s art style is highly regarded for its dynamic paneling, cinematic sense of motion, and intricate character detailing, which transformed a relatively simple webcomic premise into a visually dense action spectacle. Issue 36 captures a specific moment within the sprawling narrative arcs that Murata meticulously renders, balancing high-octane battle choreography with the series' signature deadpan humor. The work has been widely praised by critics and readers alike for its technical mastery, often cited as a standout example of modern action manga production.
